THESE TERMS OF SERVICE CONSTITUTE A LEGALLY BINDING CONTRACT between you and Wavespoke. By using our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Our Mission and Values
Wavespoke is built on the principle that social media can exist without exploiting users. We are committed to:
- User Privacy: We collect minimal data and never sell your information
- No Manipulation: No algorithmic manipulation or addictive design patterns
- Free Expression: Support for lawful speech within reasonable community standards
- Transparency: Clear rules applied consistently
- User Control: You control your data and experience
2. Eligibility
Minimum Age: 13 Years
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account or use the Platform. If you are under 13, you may not use the Platform under any circumstances.
Users 13-17: If you are between 13 and 17, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has consented to your use of the Platform.
3. Account Security
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access
We recommend using strong, unique passwords and enabling multi-factor authentication.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You May:
- Create and share Content in accordance with these Terms
- Communicate with other users
- Buy and sell products/services through the Marketplace
- Express yourself within legal boundaries and Community Guidelines
You May NOT:
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
- Spam or send bulk unsolicited messages
- Violate any applicable laws
- Infringe intellectual property rights of others
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
5. Prohibited Content
We prohibit and will remove the following Content:
- Child sexual abuse material or exploitation of minors
- Content promoting terrorism or violent extremism
- Sale of illegal drugs, weapons, or controlled substances
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
- Content violating intellectual property rights
- Credible threats of violence
- Targeted harassment, bullying, or doxxing
- Hate speech directed at protected characteristics
6. Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to your User Content.
License to Us: By posting Content, you grant us a limited license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your Content on the Platform for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.
Our Content: All Platform intellectual property (name, logo, software, design) is owned by Wavespoke.
7. Marketplace Terms
The Marketplace allows users to list, buy, and sell products and services. We are a facilitator only—we do not take title to items and are not a party to transactions.
Prohibited Marketplace Items:
- Illegal items
- Items requiring special licenses
- Counterfeit or pirated goods
- Hazardous materials
- Adult content or services
8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for particular purpose, and non-infringement.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of $100 or amounts you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Section 230 Protections
Pursuant to Section 230(c)(1) of the Communications Decency Act, we are not liable as the publisher or speaker of User Content provided by third parties.
We are not liable for removing or restricting access to Content we deem objectionable, in accordance with Section 230(c)(2).
10. DMCA Copyright Policy
We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

If you believe Content infringes your copyright, submit a DMCA notice to our Copyright Agent.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by using the "Delete Account" function or emailing info@wavespoke.com.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in illegal activity, or as required by law.
12. Dispute Resolution
Binding Arbitration: Except as provided below, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
Class Action Waiver: Disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis, not as a class action.
30-Day Opt-Out: You may opt out of arbitration by sending written notice to info@wavespoke.com within 30 days of account creation.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and applicable state law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. For material changes:
- 60 days' advance notice via email
- Prominent notice on Platform
- Right to object by deleting your account
